This hotel offers great value for money, with prices that mirror the island's standard. The rooms, although basic, are clean and well-maintained, with attention to detail. The location is superb, situated on an amazing island and within easy reach of the Natural Park and Odysseus's cave.
No significant issues were found during our stay.

Owner was an affable and helpful guy. Parking was easy.
Rooms have no ac and are flaming hot in the summer. We asked for a fan, which would have helped the ac situation, but none was provided. The shared kitchen was really more of a combination oven/range in a storage closet. Give this hotel a miss from Jun - Sept unless the owner invests in AC or at least some fans.

Room new with new furniture. Good views. Handy for national park. Near good restaurants.
Bathroom tiny. Stayed 3 days but room not serviced. Could do with some creature comforts ie curtains, bedside lights, fridge aircon. Not good value as no breakfast

Our room at Apartments & Rooms Villa Lucija was clean and comfortable. The location in the heart of Polace was fantastic, with restaurants and shops nearby. The well-equipped kitchen was a bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Host Evo was friendly and helpful. Location great - Mljet is a fantastic island and Polace a great base. Good value for Money
Room was quite small but i think that is reflected in the price. It is good condition and quality so not a problem for me.

We were made very welcome in this tiny island town. The hosts were very helpful especially in getting us up a number of stairs at the villa. The position is great in the centre of town amongst the restaurants and the view from the window of the harbour was magic. The rooms were very nice also. It is a good location also to hire a bike and explore the National Park. We highly recommend Villa Lucija.

The prices are reasonable, especially considering the fantastic location near the port of Polace and the Mljet national park. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing great service. The rooms are basic but comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed having a separate full kitchen with a small balcony. The beautiful views from the balcony were a great addition to our stay.
All was more than satisfactory, nothing to complain about.

The owners were lovely, the view from the balcony was amazing!
A fridge and kettle would have been fantastic.

The small staff was friendly, but generally clueless about immediate surroundings.
Linen had not been changed from previous guests (though staff changed it quickly upon request). Tiny bath towels, no washcloths or soap, and the out of the way location made this an overpriced option. (I would stay in the nearby town of Pomena instead of Polace if I had it to do over)

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in a peaceful town on Mljet Island. The staff gave us a friendly greeting and allowed us to check in early, which was a great start to our trip. The room was clean, modern, and had a comfortable bed. I was pleasantly surprised to find a private balcony with a stunning sea view. The location was perfect, with a grocery store and local restaurants just a short walk away. It was also convenient to have a mini-kitchen in the room. it was great value for money and I highly recommend it.
Everything was fantastic, no improvements needed.

The young girl with very good English was very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shower was great. Good location in Polace.
Although we asked for a sea view in our reservation we didn't get one. This would have been fine, but when we asked for a sea view after seeing our room we were told they would try to arrange something. Four days passed, the sea view rooms on our floor alone changed over about four or five times. This made us feel a little relegated. On departure we were asked for our opinion and we pointed this out. We were told that those rooms asked for the sea view. When we pointed out that we did too (and I didn't book one of the last rooms) we were met with surprise. It seems they didn't really read our reservation. The room was clean and comfortable but had a view of a wall. If it was cheaper than the other rooms it would be ok, but it cost the same as the rooms with a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. Not good value for money. People there were capable of being very chilly at times, but by no means all the time. The young blonde girl with very good English being a notable exception - very nice person to deal with. If you got a good room you would probably enjoy your stay here. But because of the way we felt marginalised I can't recommend it.

Perfect location in Polace. In the National Park and either a half an hour walk or 15 min bike ride to the Lakes. 5 min walk to the catarman for connections to Dubrovnik. Our (very clean) room had a balcony overlooking the sea. Beautiful views. Owners are very nice too.
The kitchen was locked and required asking the owner to open it for you. A bit of a hassle so we didn't bother. Also no air con in our room, not so much of a problem in September but may be essential in the summer.

We got great value for our money at this apartment. The room was clean, new, and had a small kitchen facility. The location was perfect for exploring the Mljet natural park and the rest of the island. The owners were incredibly helpful and hospitable, making sure we had everything we needed for a enjoyable stay.
The morning meal could have been better with a wider selection of tea and coffee options.

Location was great, right beside the port, sea and beach, also near the national park. All other facilities were just down the road. Shared kitchen provided with most of the facilities you need
Room was quite small and the toilet was literally at the head of the bed with a make-shift door. No air conditioning. Although we had a balcony it was quite small.
